Cafe World Helper

The advanced levels in Cafe World are now open and specialties are on their way. Some people may have noticed that the specialties is just a count of master levels for nationality of dish. It looks like dishes will work from those mastery points.

I will be adding the nationalities from Cafe World into the tools very soon. I'm hoping that will help everyone figure out what to master.

More Cafe World Cheats and Tips to come!

In a previous post, Quicker Cooks, I suggested that you put your stoves in one big block. Well, I've got an even better way now.

When all the stoves are in one block, it can be difficult to click on the right one. In the layout in the picture, there are 2 empty spaces between the stoves, giving you plenty of room to click.

Note that all the stoves are toward the bottom left wall, thus keeping the cook fast.

Update 3/18/2010: This currently does not work, because facebook has changed the way home pages work. I'm currently searching for a solution.

If you're running Firefox, here's a way to automatically gather dishes from friend's wall posts. If you're not using Firefox to surf the web, you can Get Firefox Here.

3 Easy steps to set it up:

1. Install Greasemonkey.
2. Install Facebook URL Cleaner from userscripts.org.
3. Install Cafe World Wall Manager from userscripts.org.
4. Bookmark this Cafe World Page.

Now, all you have to do is click the bookmark. There will be a blue box over 'Facebook' in the top left. When it says 0 remaining, it's done.

What Is Greasemonkey?

Greasemonkey is an add-on for firefox. This add-on basically runs a special script on top of a certain page. There are thousands of these scripts available for many purposes.

The Cafe World Wall Manager is one of these special scripts. It will only activate when you visit that specific Facebook page. It will simulate a click on all the links to get you gifts/bonuses.

Note: Greasemonkey does check for updates of the scripts from time to time, so don't be alarmed if it asks to do an update or tells you it did one.

Your cafe's buzz rating is very important. The higher the buzz, the more customers come to your cafe. The more customers, the more money you make.

Buzz rating is in the upper right hand of the game, next to the thumb up.

Each customer adjusts your buzz rating when they leave. If the customer is served, 0.1 is added to your buzz rating. Every non-served customer takes 0.5 away from your buzz rating. Buzz maxes out at 105.0 and only changes when the game is running.

Here's how to max it out:

1. Collect all gifts
2. Collect all food on http://facebook.com/?filter=app_101539264719
3. Block in employees (See previous post)
4. Add tables & chairs, up to 20 total
5. Make sure every seat will get served
6. Serve gifts
7. Cook 5/10 minute food
8. Repeat steps 5 and 6, adding chairs & tables when necessary
9. Save and close the game

It will take 2-3 hours to go from a buzz rating of less than 10.0 to 105.0. Stay at your cafe and do NOT visit friend's cafes while doing this.

Cheat: Block in Employees. Food will magically appear on the tables. Dirty dishes magically get cleaned.

All you have to do is set the stage as seen above. The key trick to it is to make sure you turn the counters so the open part is where the employees will be.

Instead of using stoves as seen in the example, you can use tables, chairs, or even a decoration you received as a gift. Two items are needed to block the opening and the corner.

After you do this, you may notice some tables aren't getting food. You will have to do a bit of rearranging. This is because of a rule in the game that won't serve a table that doesn't have a path from a counter to the table. The same holds true for patrons and chairs.

Here's a Cafe World Cheat: Turn your stoves toward a wall.

As you can see in the screen shot, all the stoves are turned toward the wall. Also, all the stoves in one big block.

The stoves are still completely usable, but the cook stays in one place instead of moving from stove to stove. This greatly speeds up food preparation.

To turn the stoves:

1. Go into building mode.
2. Click on a stove.
3. Click on the halo above the stove to turn it.
4. Repeat.

When you serve something, the cook will instally be holding the item and take it to a counter. It may take the cook a minute to get to the counters when first serving a dish.
